Dear Reader.

We live in a f'd up economy when people are literally getting paid bonuses to build better bombs, obfuscate justice, forcibly abduct and disappear people, exploit workers more efficiently, and, and, and... (sadly, we could fill in the blanks here for days and not be finished).

And therefore it's understandable that some days, it's just hard to metabolize all that is happening. It's painful that too many people's daily work is eroding our communities and beautiful living world.

In the midst of all this, I am working on honing how I can speak with clarity about how I help folks figure out how to shift towards "work that serves Life."

It feels super poignant right now when the world feels like a dumpster fire.

In mainstream plainspeak, I teach people how to start service-based businesses.

And since these threshold times need more of us dedicating more hours of our day to work that nurtures life, I hold an unwavering dedication to helping you learn the core first-things-first nitty-gritty biz skills that will increase your chances of success. (Because let's face it, becoming an entrepreneur is risky!) These skills are taught in entrepreneurship incubators (like I attended) but they aren't taught in lots of the online biz classes you see out there, so that's a key differentiator about me...

But I've figured out that these are things essential to how I work and nobody else is talking about them like this:

• We have to heal our conceptions of work, because they are thoroughly colonized, and THAT is a big part of what gives rise to the horror of the mainstream economy, which is particularly on show in the USA right now.

  If you look at the shitshows unfolding on all fronts, note that someone is getting paid all along the way, and this is the neon sign pointing to the violence that is embedded in the dominant extractive economy.
  ​
  What's key here is that we are conditioned to rationalize that we are "just" going to work to build a career, feed our family, or get ahead. This ability to dissociate from the impact of our investment of daily energy is baked into our conceptions of work, and holds oppressive systems in place.
  ​
  When you work with me, we invite all this into the light so that you don't end up replicating the BS that is eroding life.
  ​
• Moving out of the mainstream job markets towards the lifestyle that honors your life energy and lets you do good work in the world is great, and I can help you with that.
  ​
  But way more potent, and crucially needed right is to develop your biz in a way that it can become the seed of an ecosystem of services and products that actively facilitate the healing of your Place on Earth.
  ​
  ​Holy moly that might feel like a big stretch, because it IS.
  ​
  But aren't all the shitshows making it clear how unworkable biz as usual is, and actually always has been?
